Life Coach Vancouver BC

Self Compassion is simply being kind to yourself, and treating yourself as you would a friend, child, or family member. It’s allowing yourself to make mistakes and acknowledge feelings without judgement or criticism. Self Compassion is accepting ourselves for who we are, and how we feel and celebrating our unique differences. Self Compassion can be negatively affected by shame and guilt, trauma, overly critical self-talk or simply not knowing who we are and what we value.

In coaching, we look at creating a safe, nonjudgemental atmosphere to explore a person’s current belief system and explore the values and attitudes they have about themselves. We challenge the negative harmful way of being and adapt a kinder, gentler approach to self-acceptance.

By utilizing self-care techniques, such as positive affirmations, gratitude, and mindfulness, in daily practice, we can reduce anxiety and depressive-related symptoms, have a higher quality of life, experience, more fulfilling relationships, and maintain a supportive environment no matter what life situations or circumstances are going on around you.
